Riken started with an invention of “explosion meter” for coal mining industry back in 1920s. The only way to detect methane gas back then was using a “miner lantern”. The “miner lantern” would implode if there was too much of methane gas detected. The interferometric technology used in the “explosion meter” has gone through generation of development and refinement before becoming one of the widely use combustible gas detector and calorie meter. Riken Keiki offers over a hundred different models of gas detection and environmental measurement products. We continue to refine the technologies established through our history while investigating and improving the quality and technical capabilities of the products we provide. Riken Keiki instruments are designed and manufactured to respond to diverse industrial requirements and applications. Customers rely on them to detect and prevent disasters rapidly and precisely. New product development involves the continual improvement and refinement of existing products, as well as active collaboration with our customers as a matter of course.
The gas detectors from Riken Keiki Japan have been developed and enhanced through years of research and development. The gas detectors will not perform and function at the optimal level if at any stage of the followings have not been given due consideration:
- sensor technology selection
- design and review of the fire and gas detection (coverage, number of devices, serviceability, asset lifecycle and etc.).
- installation, testing and commissioning.
- periodic calibration
- predictive maintenance and asset lifecycle management.
In Riken Keiki Malaysia, we provide the end to end solutions to uphold the process safety standard of our clients. In Riken Keiki Malaysia, we provide the end to end solutions to uphold the process safety standard of our clients.
